Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS)In the unlikely event of a scenario where aircraft
control is questionable, Cirrus Co-founder Alan Klapmeier wanted his product to have a solution.
Experiencing a mid-air himself he felt the need
to have this system on all aircrafts and thanks
to this system today Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) has saved the lives of many.

This electronic monitoring and exceedance-correcting technology works to assist
pilot in maintaining his or her aircraft in a safe, flight-stable condition, helping to prevent
the onset of stall/spins, overspeeds, steep spirals or other loss-of-control conditions, should
the pilot become distracted, disorientated or incapacitated
during flight.
Cuffed WingThe cuffed wing structure puts the outboard part of the wing at a lower angle of attack, allowing for aileron control when the inboard part of the wing where most lift is created is stalled.
Known Ice ProtectionApproved TKS system, you'll know it's different from the basic ice protection on non-FIKI aircraft. Cirrus Known Ice Protection is an actual FAA re-certification of the SR22T to permit pilots to legally fly into known icing conditions.
Blue Level ButtonGetting confused occasionally shouldn't be threat to safety. Pressing the LVL button even if the autopilot is not on, the airplane will roll level and hold altitude. Allowing for more time to think of the next safe flight decision.
Synthetic Vision Technology
(SVT)Knowing exactly where the terrain is and how it affects your flight path—regardless of outside visibility—with a three dimensional representation of the world displayed on your PFD.
Enhanced Vision System (EVS)Using fusion technology that combines both visible and infrared
light, EVS outlines terrain features, landmarks, cloud buildings—even ground objects such
as parked aircraft, animals or personnel—on
the MFD.
Highway in the SkyThe green flight path marker will tell you where the aircraft is going with consideration of crosswinds and the magenta rectangular pathways will guide you with increased precision en route or on approach.
Active Traffic InformationAlways know where to look when you get that traffic advisory from ATC or your onboard computer equipment. SVT paired up with Active Traffic Information will give you extra guidance before other aircraft potentially become a concern.
Obstacle & Terrain
AwarenessDuring low altitude operations (such as takeoff, landing and approach) obstacles and terrain will be clearly displayed on the PFD in three dimensions with cautions and warnings provided regardless of in-flight visibility.
Airbag SeatbeltsFront seats have seatbelts equipped with airbags built into the lap piece. Just another added safety feature to give you peace of mind.
The seats installed in the Cirrus brand can handle up to 26G's before failure.
Roll CageEach Cirrus aircraft is equipped with a roll cage as an additional support of the structure to ensure the safety of occupants in the unlikely event of an accident.
Composite
BodyMaterials such as fiberglass and carbon fiber, are easily molded into complex and aerodynamic shapes. They can create very strong structures tolerant to wide variations in temperature and requiring little maintenance. Has never had a structure failure.
